“Ask a CPA” Special Sign-Up Instructions

When you join a Circle community, Circle creates an account associated with your email address. If you try to sign up for another community using the same email address, sometimes the Circle sign-up software gets confused. We’ve found that you can avoid pitfalls by signing into your existing Circle community first, and then signing up for the new community in the same browser tab.

Sign Into Your Existing Circle Community First!

  1. Sign into your existing Circle community
  2. Paste this sign-up link into the same tab where you just signed into your Circle community:
    https://askacpa.thedancingaccountant.com/checkout/ask-a-cpa-membership
  3. On the “Ask a CPA” sign-up page, click the itty-bitty “Sign In” link that appears just below the email address and password fields
  4. Once you’re signed in, enter your payment information
  5. If you have a coupon code, don’t forget to enter it!
  6. Click Subscribe to join!

What If I Cancelled My Membership In the Other Community?

If you can’t sign into your old Circle community because you cancelled your membership there, it’s recommended that you reset your Circle password, and then sign up for “Ask a CPA” in the same tab where you successfully created a new password:

  1. Use the Circle Password Reset Tool to reset the password associated with your email address
  2. When you receive the reset-password email from Circle, click the link and create a new password, and don’t close the browser tab
  3. Paste this sign-up link into the same tab where it says you successfully reset your password:
    https://askacpa.thedancingaccountant.com/checkout/ask-a-cpa-membership
  4. On the “Ask a CPA” sign-up page, click the itty-bitty “Sign In” link that appears just below the email address and password fields
  5. Once you’re signed in using your new password, enter your payment information
  6. If you have a coupon code, don’t forget to enter it!
  7. Click Subscribe to join!
